Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These terms govern the use of CineQuill. They are an operational baseline aligned with the current product and should be reviewed by legal counsel before final publication.
The service
JIGO SRL develops and operates CineQuill, an online studio for developing stories and screenplays: it includes story bible, characters, structure, scenes, screenplay editor, export and AI-assisted features.
We may update, improve, suspend or modify features for technical, security, product or regulatory reasons, while aiming to maintain reasonable service continuity.
Company references
JIGO SRL is the contractual and legal reference for CineQuill. For ordinary information, write to hello@jigoweb.com; for legally formal communications, use the certified email address jigo@pec.it. The company website is https://www.jigoweb.com/.
Account and security
- You must provide accurate information and keep access to your account secure.
- If you use magic links, invitations or shared workspaces, you are responsible for inviting only people authorized to access the content.
- You must inform us if you suspect unauthorized access, compromise or misuse of the account.
- We may limit or suspend accounts that breach these terms, put the service at risk or use resources abusively.
Ownership of content
You retain full ownership of the projects, characters, scenes, screenplays and materials you create or upload to CineQuill. CineQuill does not claim copyright ownership over your works.
You grant us only the technical license needed to host, save, process, display, sync, export and transmit content to provide the service and features you request.
AI features
- AI features are writing and revision support tools: they propose, but creative decisions remain yours.
- When you use AI, you authorize CineQuill to send the AI provider the text and context needed for the request.
- You must review outputs before using them: they may be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive or similar to results received by other users.
- Do not use AI features to generate illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing or provider-policy-violating content.
- CineQuill does not guarantee that an AI output is original, fit for a particular purpose, error-free or usable without human review.
Acceptable use
- Do not bypass limits, quotas, authentication, permissions, billing or security measures.
- Do not upload malware, infringing content or personal data you are not entitled to process.
- Do not use scraping, abusive automation, unauthorized reverse engineering or loads that degrade the service.
- Do not use CineQuill for illegal activity or to breach contracts, copyright, privacy, trade secrets or applicable law.
Plans, tokens and payments
CineQuill offers a free plan and paid plans. AI usage is governed by a token or credit budget: consumption depends on prompt length, context, model and output.
Pro subscriptions renew at the stated billing date unless canceled before renewal. One-time top-ups add tokens or credits to your account under the conditions shown at purchase.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices, taxes, currency, receipts, refunds, disputes and payment-method management follow the terms shown in checkout and the customer portal.
Deletion, export and availability
You can export content through the product features. If you delete projects or an account, some data may remain for a limited period in backups, technical logs or records needed for legal obligations and security.
We work to keep the service available, but do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors, compatibility with every environment or indefinite retention of data beyond applicable policies.
Third-party services
CineQuill integrates third-party services such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Anthropic and Resend. Some features depend on their availability, security, policies and terms. Payments and AI use may also be subject to the terms of the relevant providers.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CineQuill is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost creative or business opportunities, interruptions, AI errors, third-party provider outages or use of outputs without review.
Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law, including any mandatory consumer protections.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, pricing, providers or regulatory requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through proportionate means and you may stop using the service if you do not accept them.
Governing law and disputes
This section should be completed by legal counsel with governing law, venue, mandatory consumer protections and any alternative dispute resolution procedures.
